Drive from age 16
An AM moped licence is enough — no full car driving licence needed. Ideal for teens and for internationals still converting their licence.
45 km/h top speed

Fully electric with a practical range of about 100 to 120 km. Enough for a week of city driving or several short trips a day.

Registration in your name
We arrange the Dutch licence plate and put it in your name — including RDW paperwork for expats and 16-year-olds.
Good to know for expats
Do I need a car driving licence in the Netherlands to drive a Quinto?+
No. The Quinto is a licensed light electric car (brommobiel, 45 km/h). From age 16 you only need an AM moped licence — no full car licence required. Most expats can convert or obtain an AM licence quickly.
Where can I drive a 45 km/h car in the Netherlands?+
Anywhere cars are allowed inside and outside built-up areas, including city centres. Not on motorways.
What is the range of the electric Quinto?+
Around 100 to 120 km on a full battery. Charging takes 4 to 6 hours from a normal socket or public charge point.
Can I register the car if I'm an expat?+
Yes. We handle the full RDW registration and put the licence plate in your name, also for 16-year-old drivers and for newly arrived internationals with a BSN and Dutch address.
What does it cost to run?+
Around €30 per month for maintenance and insurance. Prices start at € 7.950 excl. VAT, specials from € 8.950 excl. VAT.
